Can someone please help me here…I'm stuck. I can't figure out how to properly wire through the 12v constant to keep my car stereo from resetting every time I turn off the car for more than 10 seconds. The 12v constant wire on a 98 civic is said to be the blue/white wire. I've located that wire and connected it to the yellow constant wire on my new jvc kd-r200 stereo, yet it doesn't do the job. I don't have a tool to test whether or not the blue/white wire is life or not. The switched 12v wire (Yellow/red on the honda side, red on the jvc side) works just fine, and it has power whenever the car is on, but when the car is turned off, everything is lost. Anyone have any ideas?
